The Green River Band was put together to recreate well known rock and blues songs and give audiences something different to the regular material that gets heard everywhere. As a change from the well-trodden pub tunes we were used to playing with other bands, we wanted to play the music we love, and audiences love to hear, but don’t get to often enough!
